Welcome to our Road Safety Authority (RSA) Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Training Courses Website
The Road Safety Authority (RSA) is the regulatory body for driving instruction in Ireland. Driving instructors who meet the standard set by the RSA will become Approved Driving Instructors (ADI).
The objective of regulating the industry is to standardise instruction and give the ADI instructor a leading role in developing better drivers. The conditions of membership have been carefully framed to allow for a quality standard to be met with the minimum of inconvenience for driving instructors. The various aspects of the scheme of regulation have been developed following.
Chevron Training is Irelands largest Fetac & City and Guilds accredited training provider. We pride ourselves in offering the best driving instructor training courses on the market, delivered by experienced and highly qualified subject matter experts and guarantee an unrivalled level of after-care support to all students.
Chevron Training is Approved by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) to deliver the Official Approved Driving Instructor training courses nationwide. Please be aware that there are many unapproved training providers offering unofficial driving instructor training courses. In order to ensure a consistently high quality standard of driving instructor training and to adequately prepare drivers for the official RSA ADI examinations the Road Safety Authority has developed comprehensive course materials and has introduced a register of Approved training providers such as Chevron Training to deliver this training.
Jobseekers who satisfy the criteria for FÁS funding , may be able to attend Chevron Training’s FÁS funded training courses for free, as they will be able to avail of up to 100% funding for the course fee.
