Course Structure - Intruder Alarms
(with over 50% practical 'hands on' content)
Aims:
To up-skill candidates with the relevant knowledge and understanding of intruder alarm systems. This module is a statement of the standards to be achieved to gain a FETAC credit in intruder alarm and access control at Level 5.

Objective:
The objective of this course is to provide a wealth of knowledge on intruder alarms and access control to prepare candidates for the official FETAC examination which follows the course. It provides the knowledge and skills required for those intending to install intruder alarms.
Exam Structure
The examination will be based on a range of specific learning outcomes covering all units
The examination will be 1.5 hours in duration
The format of the examination will be as follows:
Theory based:

- 3 tasks (120 marks)

- Fee includes all course materials, tutorials, exam fees, lunch each course day.

- Full payment is required before course commences.

- Upon receipt of payment participants will receive their course materials.

- Please note that you will be required to bring photo ID (driving license or passport) to sit final exam
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a participant needing to cancel their booking, our policy requires that a request is received in writing by Chevron Training & Development Ltd., no later than 14 days prior to the commencement date of the particular course signed up to. Receipt of any written request less than 14 days prior to course commencement will not be facilitated, as Chevron Training & Development Ltd will have insufficient time to fill that place.
