Name: Seamus Mahoney
Position: Telecoms Engineer & Lecturer
Expert in: Design, construction and maintenance of Eircom telephone exchanges in South East Ireland. Instrumental in the setting up the hugely successful Eircom Phonewatch product.
Training Skills (both theory and practical)
Lecturing (Telecoms Engineering VEC school) incl. lectures on theory and practicals of external engineering skills required by telecom engineers, covering basics of external cabling, overhead & underground, building structure of all external elements of telecoms systems, and fault location from exchange to customer, carried out in all Eircom districts.
Respsonsible for highest pass rate in the country, with all candidates passing.
