Intelligent Building Systems Training Course

Chevron Training, Irelands Largest Renewable Energy Training Provider is currently developing a comprehensive Intelligent Building Systems Training Course. This course provides qualified electricians or suitably qualified applicants with the skills, knowledge and competence to install, configure and test an intelligent building control system using the latest technologies.

This course will over all applications in home and building control, ranging from lighting and shutter control to various security systems, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, monitoring, alarming, water control, energy management, metering as well as household appliances, audio and lots more. The technology can be used in new as well as retrofitted in existing homes and buildings. The course is designed to provide extensive insight into the technical operation, design, and commissioning of smart building system installations. Course content is divided between developing theoretical understanding and practical skills, and also prepares learners to sit the accredited examination. We are currently accepting registrations of interest from those interested in attending this hands on course when they launched in the 4th quarter of 2009. All applications will be dealt with on a strictly first come first served basis.

Jobseekers who satisfy the criteria for FÁS funding , may be able to attend Chevron Training’s FÁS funded training courses for free, as they will be able to avail of up to 100% funding for the course fee.
