Care of the Older Person Training Courses

Chevron Training, the leading training company in Ireland, has introduced a nationwide FETAC accredited Care of the Elderly Training Course.

This comprehensive course will equip students with the necessary understanding and knowledge to demonstrate good work practices during the provision of care for the older person.

The unprecedented requirement for suitably qualified carers in nursing homes, day care centres or in the domestic environment has resulted in the creation of various employment opportunities for individuals interested in caring for the older person.

This FETAC Level 5 course will enable the participant to demonstrate good practice when caring for an older person in a professional or personal capacity.

The Care of the Elderly Training Course is available as either a classroom based or distance learning course. Please note IT Skills and Internet Access are required to complete a course by Distance Learning.

How Chevron Training Distance Learning Works:

You will be issued with a username and password which allows you to log-in to your course anywhere you have an Internet Connection and at any time. This allows you to complete the course at a time and pace that suits your individual needs.  You will have access to the course materials plus support documents and useful links and video clips. All course materials can be printed if you prefer a paper copy. In addition, you will have access to Tutor support via an online forum.
