I.S. 3217:2008 is the new standard that applies to the design and commissioning of emergency lighting. I.S. 3217:2008 sets a required level of training for those designing and/or commissioning emergency lighting systems.
Chevron Training, Ireland's largest private training provider, has devised a suite of Emergency Lighting Systems training courses which enable learners to commission and design emergency lighting systems for all building types and systems in compliance with I.S. 3217:2008 requirements and industry best practice, whilst working autonomously or as part of a team.
These training courses which have been designed by an expert in the emergency lighting field, will be particularly beneficial for designers, commissioners, engineers, energy engineers, lighting auditors, non domestic BER Assessors, architects, inspectors, facility managers, and anyone else that may be responsible for either the design or commissioning of emergency lighting systems.
