Handling Fluorinated Gases Course
Chevron Training, the leading training company in
Ireland, has introduced a nationwide Handling
Fluorinated Gases Training Course.
Regulation (EC) No 842/2006, in force since July
2006, encourages the containment of Fluorinated
Greenhouse Gases (F-Gases). Obligations deriving
from this Regulation include the leak checking and
monitoring of equipment containing F-Gases. These
activities must be undertaken by an individual that
has attained the appropriate level of skills and
knowledge in this discipline.
This FETAC accredited course aims to equip learners
with the necessary knowledge and skills to undertake
leak checking, recovery, installation and
maintenance of equipment that contains refrigerants
that are either classified as fluorinated gases or
ozone depleting substances.
Jobseekers who satisfy the criteria for FÁS funding , may be able to attend Chevron Training’sFÁS funded training courses for free, as they will be able to avail of up to 100% funding for the course fee.
