The Register of Gas Installers of Ireland (RGII) has been appointed by the Commission for Energy Regulation as the Gas Safety Supervisory Body (GSSB).
The RGII is responsible for registering gas installers and regulating their activities with respect to safety in Gas Installer Domestic (GID), Gas Installer Safety (GIS) and Domestic Gas Appliance Servicing Training Courses. This responsibility dictates that gas installers must hold a Gas Installer Domestic (GID) Certificate (which can only be obtained following successful completion of Gas Installer Safety (GIS) and Gas Installer Domestic (GID) training courses) to register with the RGII.
The requirement for increased regulation in this sector is derived from the high volume of gas appliances, gas burners and gas boilers currently installed in Irish homes.
Chevron Training, Ireland's leading training provider, have devised a suite of gas installation and servicing courses, namely Gas Installer Domestic (GID), Gas Installer Safety (GIS). The gas installation training courses satisfy the qualification requirements for RGII registration. In addition, learners will acquire the necessary skills to competently participate within this lucrative market.
Chevron Training's intensive delivery of the comprehensive gas boiler installer training courses ensures that learners are offered a fast track training option thus enabling them to obtain certification in the shortest possible timeframe.
Our learner focused approach to training dictates that our gas installer training courses are available in central locations nationwide (Cork and Dublin). The availability of gas installer training courses in these convenient locations facilitate the varying needs of learners and enables them to eliminate all the unnecessary travel and accommodation costs that can be incurred when participating on a training course.
