Rigger Training Stage 1
Purpose
Provide learners with a rigger course which has been aligned to industry standards.
Course Syllabus
- Introduction to the hazardous offshore environment
- The lifting equipment, planning of the lift, indentifying and inspecting the equipment, while insuring safety procedure and regulations are adhered too when lifting.
- Rigging, Transferring of Loads, the weight of a load, ensuring the correct balance, to working in confined areas.
- Communication, teamwork and manual Handling.
Accreditation
This course is accredited by OPITO (Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organisation). This training course is delivered by Feidhm Mara Teo in Donegal.
