Introduction to Renewable Energy Technologies Training Course
Renewable Energy has now gone mainstream as home and business owners seek ways to reduce the cost of heating their homes and businesses, whilst also cutting greenhouse emissions. The increased availability of government grants for the domestic and commercial installation of renewable technologies continue to emphasise the importance of this innovative sector. These grants, primarily administered by SEI, have increased the demand for the installation of renewable technologies. This FETAC Level 5 course has been developed to provide the learner with the knowledge and skills associated with Solar Thermal, Solar PV, and Domestic wind turbine system specification and design. The learner should be able to interpret consumer requirements and provide advice or consultancy on the solution options available. No previous knowledge of renewable energy is assumed.
Jobseekers who satisfy the criteria for FÁS funding , may be able to attend Chevron Training’s FÁS funded training courses for free, as they will be able to avail of up to 100% funding for the course fee.
