Signing, Lighting and Guarding at Roadworks

The Safety, Heath & Welfare at Work (Construction Regulations) 2006 Reg. 97 states that:

"The roadworks are supervised by a competent person who has been issued with a valid construction skills registration card".

Therefore, there is a mandatory training requirement for those individuals charged with the supervision of roadworks to attain a qualification with respect to Signing, Lighting & Guarding at Roadworks.

Chevron Training, has devised a conclusive training programme which will enable learners to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to attain a FETAC Level 5 Special Purpose award in Signing, Lighting & Guarding at Roadworks.

Jobseekers who satisfy the criteria for FÁS funding , may be able to attend Chevron Training’s FÁS funded training courses for free, as they will be able to avail of up to 100% funding for the course fee.
