The following is a brief biography of one of our many highly qualified and experienced trainers:
Name: Bob Berry
Details: Bob Berry has over fifteen years experience as a director of an electrical contracting company, where his varied responsibilities included maintenance and testing. He was responsible for the DSR certification of electrical installations in a petrochemical environment for attaining their hydrocarbon licenses, along with testing, certification and commissioning of electrical installations.
In 1998 Bob established his own Thermography consultancy business where he remains active as a thermographer in various applications. As a thermographer with over ten years’ experience, and over 5,500 hours of thermography, he has worked extensively in electrical thermography, buildings and civil applications and has assisted in many R&D projects. Bob has written a number of thermography specifications for insurance companies in Ireland and the UK, he has also worked closely with their risk managers and thought them how to interpret a thermography report. As a level 3 thermographer, Bob has mentored other thermographers, developed specifications and work procedures and overseen in-house thermography programs; he has worked for some of the largest companies in Ireland, from manufacturing to residential, offices to pharmaceutical, Bob’s work covers a very broad range and customer base.
Bob was one of the first thermographers in the world to pass the BINDT Level 3 Certification exams, and currently holds Level 3 Certification in Electrical and Civil Thermography with BINDT, along with ITC Level 3 certification. His work with ITC as a licensed instructor began in 2005; he has presented courses on three continents and currently presents both Level 1&2. Bob is a regular attendee at the Inframation conference and works as a course developer for ITC, he has developed expert modules for the Level 2 and short courses. He also holds a Certificate in Training and Development from NUI, Maynooth and is a registered thermography trainer with the National Register for Trainers in Ireland. |
