Course Structure
Course Objectives
- Understand the requirements for fitting water meters.
- Recognise the different methods of fitting water meters.
- Develop competence in applying appropriate techniques to install in-line, concentric, bulk, meter loops and multi-port water meters.
- Undertake meter repair and maintenance work.
- Work in accordance with Health and Safety legislation.

- Water Meter Types – In Line, Concentric, Bulk, Meter Loops and Multi-Port
- Copper Pipe Works
- Fitting Meters
- Meter Repair and Maintenance
- Installation Tools and Equipment
- Domestic Waste (Under Sink Meters)
- Health and Safety
Exam:
20 short questions, 1 hr
1.5 hr practical demonstration.
Please bring a passport photo which is compulsory to be attached to your exams, without this Certification will not be issued.
